I doubt Marie Laveau would approve.

The wife of the most notorious gentrifier and developer Pres Kabacoff has built a shrine to Marie Laveau to provide a new venue for visitors who are unable to go the Marie Laveau’s tomb in St Louis Cemetery. The Archdiocese is now charging people to enter the cemetery. The Catholic Church of New Orleans owns so much property. Kabacoff tears down public housing, displaces residents,  and was recently quoted as saying  his solution to those in need of public housing is to “get them out of there.”  I doubt Marie Laveau would approve.
